September 2021: At the end of our first season we raised £600 after the deduction of league set up costs and running costs. All donations donated to the St. Albans & District Foodbank charity (details below)
December 2021: £600: with the expansion of our league, we made a second donation midway through our second season in time for Christmas; a critical time for those struggling.
March/July/December 2022: Three payments totalling £1,600 were made in 2022
April/October/December 2023: Three payments totalling £1,600 were made in 2023
May 2024: £600: our 9th donation and critically reaching a landmark total of £5,000 in just over 3 years.
November and December 2024: £910: two payments of £600 and £310 respectively taking our total to £5,910 in 3 years.
All contributions are donated to the St Albans & District Foodbank (part of the Trussell Trust charity). The St Albans Foodbank helps to provide food parcels and emergency food supplies to residents in need, in St Albans and all surrounding towns and villages.
